One of the things that I would like to do here
is to lay some groundwork and define a few terms. Another thing to
accomplish is to give you an idea of some of the areas of training, or
courses of study, which interest me, not that this is meant to be
inclusive, or to restrict you from approaching me with ideas that are
not here. Hopefully these will draw your interest and perhaps spark
you imagination or desire. Some of these are things which I have
already worked with, some are things where I am currently exploring,
and some are just interest where you can help me to explore as
well. In defining each of these, I use only my own definition and not
anything which may be agreed upon by anyone else, though I think my
definitions make at least as much sense as possible when one is
talking about consentual submission and not involuntary service, as many
of these things once were.
Submissive - Starting here, with perhaps
one of the most tame examples. The focus here is on experience,
exploration and play. By my definition and use of the word submissive
the focus is on short scenes. "A submissive chooses constantly to
submit for the moment". By the end of the training time a submissive
should know much more about herself, her sexual turn ons, which toys
she enjoys, what roles and roleplay she enjoys, and in general should
be much more comfortable with herself, her submission and submissive
fantasies, and many of the terms around bdsm. She should also be able
to handle scene negotiation and be comfortable in her use of a
safeword. Lastly, she should have a fairly solid idea of where her limits
are. This appeals to me because
it's fun and light. I have done many elements of this in the past,
though not yet formally.
Slave - To me, a slave is much more about
service and being used, deriving much of her own pleasure from these
things. The training here would definitely include sexual skills,
cooking, cleaning, observation. While others may desire a slave who is
either forced into action, or who is reactive only... doing only what
is asked, my vision of a slave is one who serves actively, seeking out
opportunities and ways in which to please her chosen. Upon ending
training, a slave would know herself and her capacity to serve, she
should be able to sate someone's sexual appetite while remaining
totally focused on delivering pleasure. She should be able to observe
and learn another, what signs they show when they want things, and how
to please them. She should be able to cook, bake and clean well, and
know how to use all of her skills in service. She should be used to
total openness and used to having no privacy and very little control
of her life. There are elements to a slave which come from the
Servant, Sex toy and Geisha roles listed on this
page. What I see in a slave is
definitely not the same as many others. The idea of active service
rather than passive or forced service is one which requires an
incredible amount of desire and effort on the part of the consentual
slave. The training for this almost requires being a live-in student,
as a slave doesn't have time off, but serves constantly. To be
comfortable with this role, it must be experienced during
training.
True Slave - This is similar to
Slave above, but much more complete. A True Slave is one
who has given her whole being to serving, there is no thought left of
self, only of pleasing and ensuring pleasure on another. This is a
selfless, active service... she seeks no gratification or pat on the
back, only self-assurance that she is always doing her best. The
teaching of this is very much focused on the internal struggles that
she will face in giving up control over every element of her life, how
to avoid resentment, how to motivate herself. In addition all of the
basic service skills are covered. (Cooking, cleaning, sexual,
presentation, form). During the training, as much control as possible
will be taken from the trainee... dress, exercise, free time, bathroom
use, diet, etc. A true slave has only the morality and inhibitions
given to her by her Owner, and such we will try to remove as many as
possible in the training time, that she may be a blank slate when
done. In the ideal, a true slave owns nothing, not even her own
body. Training to this end is very appealing
to me as it allows me full range of anything, which is always a fun thing
to contemplate. This one very definitely requires the trainee to live in
so that this can be experienced. Every moment of the trainee's life during
her training will be controlled either explicitly or with rules to govern
her behaviour.
Servant - This is focused on service and
is largely non-sexual. Anything, any skill can be offered in
service... bookkeeping, nursing, cooking, driving, painting, writing,
programming, etc. The training here is focused on helping you to
recognize the things you want to offer and how to make use of them in
services, as many may not realize how to use all of the skills you may
bring to the table. For me, a service
oriented submissive is something I have not yet had the pleasure of
working with. The idea appeals to me I think because it is non-sexual,
which is something different... and because I might get a few things
done ;)
Sex toy - This is one who wants to be
used sexually for other's pleasures. The focus of training is
definitely on the sexual, learning to focus always on pleasing through
her own pain, pleasure or indifference. As many ways to please both
men and women as can be taught will be, including the use of mouth,
vagina, anus, ass, breasts, hands, thighs, toes, etc. Proficiency with
vaginal, oral and anal muscles will be developed while working on
accomodation and desire. Now, part of the idea of being a toy is that
it makes one an object, so in many ways you would be treated as
one... no say in who may see or use you, no say in how you may be
marked (unless limited in your training contract), etc. This is something that has really only come up
recently and I'm still working on more of the specifics. It's a fun
path to work on, esp. since I quite enjoy sex
myself.
Pain slut - here the focus is on
developing, enhancing and exploring the tolerance and types of pain
which are enjoyed in a sexual manner by the trainee. Things which can
be explored: heat, cold, needles, cutting, whipping, flogging, caning,
crops, spanking, clamps, clips, electricity, extreme bondage, pressure
points, paddling, etc. How much can you take, which combinations do
you like, how does that change with your arousal. While a pain
slut is not always a submissive, I'm including this here because many
other types of trainees are also curious about this. Somewhere lurking deep inside myself is an
incredible sadist.. a mad scientist type who loves inflicting pain not
just sexually but psychologically as well. I am much more inclined to
what I describe as finesse pain... needles, whips, clamps, cutting,
heat, cold. They require much more control and precision to get right
and are focused on much smaller areas.
Dom/me - well, this one is definitely not
like the others. This is something I've been asked about more over the
past couple years, and where I'm most comfortable with it is in the
idea of training a switch to dom. How to teach, how to listen to their
sub(s)/slave(s), how to take the responsibility seriously, and the
fine line between building a sub and destroying one with punishment,
humiliation, harshness and strictness, kindness, patience
understanding and forgiving. While the other courses of training
are targeted at one year of time, this in my mind will take three. One
of learning a course yourself, one where we together train someone,
and the last where you train someone with me for backup and checking
your work and how the sub is doing through the process. Part of the
training will include you finding the sub to teach together, and for
your thrid year, as learning how to find and judge a good sub is a
skill unto itself.(Always using the word sub here in the generic way
referring to whomever might be being trained by you/us.) I would like to try this at least once, to see
whether I can develop a good dom/me that way. I have a very high
standard for what I think is a good dom/me though... and the course is
definitely a large commitment. I still am not sure at all that I would
want to train a dom, being much more comfortable and able to relate
easier to women where sex is involved but it is something that I have
considered and continue to.
Geisha - The term "geisha" is one that
comes from the Japanese. While at times through history the geisha
have been associated with prostitution, this is not reflective of what
they are. The geisha are courtesans, companions of the evening,
escorts and entertainers and while the extremely fortunate may find
themselves in bed with one it was by her choice and not what was paid
for. The geisha, in the Japanese emphasis on perfection, dedication
and well roundedness, strove to be the perfect companion to lords,
warriors and Samurai. She could converse on any number of subjects,
sing, compose poetry, serve sake or tea with extreme grace. She strove
to make those she served happy and fufilled on many
levels. Traditionally, training was started as a young girl and
lasted well past puberty with her skills being continually honed
through her life. A few choice quotes from various geisha sites out
there...
- "... these woman are extensively trained in many of the traditional Japanese arts. Her grace is exceptional, her charm, exquisite. These woman are professional hostesses in an exotic variation" source
- "Literary translated, geisha means Beauty Person or Person who lives by the arts, and that they do. Geisha are masters in the arts; trained in music, calligraphy, Sado (tea ceremony) poetry, conversation and social graces as well as a three stringed instrument called a Shamisen." source
- "Geisha consider themselves true artists. A quote from Mayumi, a geisha, shows how seriously they take their art: A geisha contains her art within herself, and because her body has this art, her life is saved" source
- "High praise in the geisha world is the expression komata no kereagatta hito. It originally described the beautiful shape of the hairline on the back of the neck. But because we put the makeup on our necks to mirror the shape of the genital area, it now means a geisha with a lovely genital area, a 'beautifully lined place,' who has also developed her gei to a high degree. It is the perfect combination of erotic beauty and high artistic achievement. It is what we aspire to." source
- " Geisha work by entertaining guests at expensive teahouses, where they will perform, pour drinks, tell jokes and stories and generally keep the party going." source
- "... geisha must also cultivate an aesthetic of understated feminine sexiness called iki. This sexuality is greatly exaggerated and distorted in Western perceptions of geisha; iki is not submissiveness, nor is it blatant sexuality. It is an elegance that intrigues ? an alluring style that reflects a whole philosophy of life." source
Trying to bring this to the modern world, the course work here
involves a great deal of reading across a wide variety of subjects to
build background knowledge and opinions to engage conversations and
stimulate minds. Much time will be spent helping you to develop and
extend your own artistry. It also requires learning to move with grace
and fluidity, learning not just to prepare dinner but how to prepare
and present a meal. Other skills that will be useful in this role are
massage, development of artistic talent, psychology, observation,
etc. While a Slave generally focuses on doing, and a
good slave on doing before being asked, the Geisha does before asked
with an emphasis on presentation and style. If it is worth doing, it
is worth doing extremely well. In many
ways, this is a case of leaving the best to last. In the pure sense
there is nothing about the Geisha which calls for pain, punishment or
brutality. She is grace, artistry and the very definition of
feminity. This one appeals to me on many levels... the challenge
of doing the training, a long time love of medieval Japanese culture,
and the very idea of being served by one. Because of the emphasis on
perfection, style and grace, training may be much more than one
year.
These then are the goals to which I have
trained, been asked to train to, or have a strong desire in training
to. If what you want isn't listed here, ask, my interests are far
wider than what is listed here. Your own variations and combinations
are also welcome... as ultimately I can only teach what you want to
learn.
If you have any questions, or would like to talk
about any of the things mentioned here (no obligation to pursue implied),
please contact me.
