Where to get it

Many adult toy stores or online stores

How to use it

Snap them on, and go. You can attach your sub to him/herself, to someone else, or to an object.

Safety tips, or words of caution

Handcuffs were NOT designed for comfort, they can cut if the sub is struggling or pulling on them (such as might happen if you are beating them). Many of the cheaper versions will also tighten on their own during struggling, leading to more injuries and possibly cut off circulation. Look for the better ones, which are more solid and are usually double-locking so that you can keep them from tightening as well as from loosening. Handcuffs are not the right tool for any suspension unless you really want to injure your sub, for that purpose try some bondage cuffs designed for suspension.

A spare set of keys is always a good idea.

Approximate cost

$5 to $40 depending on quality

StormCat's Purr rating

Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! (8 of 9)

Handcuffs symbolize bondage to many subs, and the mere sight of them is a turn on for them. They're quick and easy to use, and they're also very easy to suprise someone with.

This is probably one of the first toys that got me into BDSM and is still one of my favorites today. Though the only thing I did not like about the metal cuffs is that they tended to cut into me if I were to struggle at all, which is why I like my bondage cuffs better because they are so comfortable.
