Where to get it

Adult toy stores, BDSM toy stores, leather shops

How to use it

Floggers are a basic hitting tool, aim and swing. Fun can be had by varing how much of the tail(s) actually contact the sub, as well as where they contact. There are many different types of materials they can be made from which range from untwisting nylon rope to horsehair, deerskin (very soft), leather, moose hide, rubber, chain.

Safety tips, or words of caution

It is very easy to leave wounds more severe than you intended to, so start soft with your swings, and work your way up. You can always hit them again, but it's impossible to un-hit them, even once.

Approximate cost

$20-$350 depending on quality and material

StormCat's Purr rating

Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! Purrrr! (7 of 9)

A flogger was the first real toy which I got for my own collection. They're easy to use, make a nice sound and don't generally do more than mark the skin for a few hours (at least as I've used mine so far)

Pleasure Scale: Ohhh!Ohhh!Ohhh! (3 of 10)

I definately like the crops better than the floggers. The floggers are definately a very different feel and it's one that i do not like a whole lot though i am not sure why that is.
